The machine works in an XYZ Cartesian coordinate system. It has two taping heads, primarily designed to isolate bars of the largest generators, while also allowing to isolate smaller-size bars by executing a quick replacement on the second head.
In order to wrap better, the Vacuum Pressure Impregnation technology has been applied to this machine while two powerful Forstoff fans are used for resin-rich tapes heating. In addition, LIS-10 has made it possible to produce each machine in accordance with the customer requirements under the precondition of high quality. The life cycle of LIS-10 series is no less than 12 years with continuous intensive working.

Dynamic holders
The travel time between bottom position and top position is around 1-2 s.
The force in top position is more than 2500 N.
The holder is fixed in the top position, even if the power broke off.
The number of holders has to be 8 if the bar length is 10…11.5 m.
End holders
The left end holder has motors to correct its Y and Z coordinates. Coordinate X=0 is constant.
The right end holder has motors to correct its X, Y and Z coordinates. It is equipped with laser rangefinder to measure the distance between holders. The end holders are both equipped with HMI panel.
